UnderExposed presents an enquiry into the effect of collectivity on art practices. Collectives often form out of a need for an exchange, practical and conceptual, but are rarely provided the time and space to reflect on the nature of collective collaboration itself. UnderExposed brings together this year’s contributors of Photo Fringe’s Collectives Hub to critically reflect and explore the effect of collective actions, working methodologies, and sensory experiences of an exhibition, rooted in the body rather than intellect. Traces of this exchange were dispersed through Phoenix Gallery throughout the duration of the exhibition.
